Useless Machines is a series of pseudo-technical drawings of every day objects, combining fictional drawn
elements with those true to life. Each composition borrows conventions from traditional architectural drawing,
creating scenes in plan, section or elevation - often dictated by a grid and punctuated with a variety of hatches. As a product of fictional and imagined parts the drawings are in themselves useless, despite their instructional appearance.
